Main purpose:

1. In the papermaking industry, hydrogen peroxide is mainly used for pulp bleaching and waste paper deinking. Hydrogen peroxide used for pulp bleaching can completely eliminate chlorine pollution; Used for deinking waste paper, it not only improves the whiteness of fibers, but also promotes the separation of ink and fibers for removal.

2. In the textile industry, hydrogen peroxide is mainly used as a bleaching agent for textile fibers, especially suitable for bleaching natural plant and animal fibers, such as cotton cellulose, linen and other bast fibers, as well as protein fibers. It has the advantages of simple operation, short reaction time, minimal equipment corrosion, minimal damage to fiber strength, long-term whiteness, and no yellowing. It is highly welcomed by the textile industry and is gradually replacing chlorine bleaching. In addition, some chemical fibers, such as viscose regenerated fibers, can also be bleached with hydrogen peroxide. With the improvement of the living standards of the Chinese people, the demand for high-end fabrics has increased, and the export of high-quality textiles has also increased year by year, leading to an inevitable increase in the consumption of hydrogen peroxide.

3. In the electronic industry, hydrogen peroxide is mainly used as a cleaning agent for silicon wafers and integrated circuit components, as well as an etchant for printed circuit boards. In addition, it can also be used to treat the surfaces of other metals (such as molybdenum and copper alloys) and semiconductor materials.

4. Using hydrogen peroxide as raw material, a wide range of peroxide products can be synthesized, including sodium perborate, sodium percarbonate, percarbonate amide, calcium peroxide, methyl ethyl ketone peroxide, dimethyl sulfoxide, bis (2-ethylhexyl) peroxydicarbonate (EHP), peroxyacetic acid, benzoyl peroxide, terbutyl benzoate peroxide, hydrazine hydrate, hydroquinone, catechol, thiourea peroxide, caprolactam, and accelerator CPB. From the development of hydrogen peroxide in China in recent years, there are basically no single hydrogen peroxide production projects. From the source of raw materials, hydrogen gas, as the main raw material for hydrogen peroxide devices, is mostly obtained through upstream hydrogen production equipment. For example, using high-purity hydrogen gas generated by caustic soda unit pyrolysis to produce hydrogen peroxide can to some extent reduce the production cost of hydrogen peroxide and improve competitiveness. Secondly, from the perspective of downstream product chain, there is a strong demand for hydrogen peroxide in the large-scale production of caprolactam units using hydrogen peroxide as the raw material in China. In addition, a new environmentally friendly and energy-saving HPPO production unit using hydrogen peroxide as the raw material has been successfully driven in China, which will inevitably stimulate the demand for hydrogen peroxide.
